The project

Weinam Creek is the focus of a staged waterfront redevelopment in Redland Bay. Council’s project page brings together the precinct plans and updates affecting the ferry hub.

The parking question

Council reports that the Queensland Government began a compulsory land acquisition process near the ferry terminal in April 2026 to support a multi-storey car park. That step should not be read as a completed car park or a confirmed opening date.

Follow the record

Use the Council project page and parking updates for changes to access and arrangements. We will distinguish announced plans, approvals and completed works as further information becomes available.
