What we collect
Newsletter sign-ups collect your email address, consent, optional area and interests, and submission time. We also record the page and a broad campaign source, such as a village promotion, to understand how readers found the form. Enquiry forms collect your name, email, subject, message and selected partnership interest where relevant. Corrections sent from an article or project also include that page’s link. Technical hosting logs may be processed to operate and secure the website.
How we use it
We use information to manage the newsletter launch list, respond to enquiries and assess submitted stories, events and business details. Submission details are stored with the site and are not automatically published.
Newsletter preferences
Signing up does not yet send an email. You can withdraw your launch-list sign-up using the unsubscribe page. Once delivery begins, emails will include an unsubscribe option.
Access, correction and deletion
Contact us to request access, correction or removal of your information. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Information is retained while needed for the stated purpose and applicable record-keeping requirements.
Service providers and external links
Hosting services process site data. Google Fonts may receive technical connection information when fonts load. External websites have their own privacy practices. Optional Google Analytics measures page visits only after you select Allow analytics. Google receives technical connection information and uses analytics cookies; page query strings, fragments, referral URLs and form contents are not included in our tracking configuration. Advertising personalisation is disabled. Change or withdraw your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Your choice is stored on this browser.
