Shoreline: understand the approval before the next announcement

The original planning framework and the separate records that matter to southern Redland Bay.

Start with the framework

Council records a preliminary approval for the Shoreline masterplanned community on 18 November 2015, reference MCU13287. Its Plan of Development guides how subsequent applications are assessed.

Read the particular stage

A masterplan does not establish that a particular road, park, shop or community building is complete. Look for the stage-specific decision and a current delivery update before treating a facility as available. Council’s background page also distinguishes the adjoining Bayhill Estate from the Shoreline approval.

Keep a useful question list

For any new announcement, ask: what land does it cover, who is delivering it, what is approved, and what date is actually committed? Our coverage will follow those questions rather than treating a promotional milestone as an opening date.
