Bushland on the doorstep

Bayview Conservation Area covers almost 1,000 hectares between Redland Bay and Mount Cotton. Council lists around 60 kilometres of walking and mountain-bike trails, alongside horse-riding routes.

Start at the day-use area

The main entry is at 487–503 German Church Road. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecues, toilets and a bike wash-down area. Different access points serve different trails, so choose your starting point before setting out.

Plan your visit

Check Council’s trail map, access information and current conditions. The internal car-park gate has different hours from the wider reserve; Council advises getting vehicles outside the main gate before dusk.
